Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75717-AR červený 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75717-AR Red 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed network connections. Constructed to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP (shielded foil around individual pairs and overall braid), this 7.5 metre cable reduces electromagnetic interference and supports stable data transfer between networked devices. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable is suitable for connecting computers, switches, routers and other Ethernet-enabled equipment, while its red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6a rating supports higher bandwidths and improved crosstalk performance compared with earlier categories, while S/FTP shielding offers enhanced protection against external noise and nearby cable bundles. The 7.5 m length gives flexibility for desk-to-wall or rack-to-equipment connections without excess slack. Molded RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and easy insertion, and the colored outer sheath simplifies cable management and fault finding in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired desktop connections to switches or routers
• Patch panel to network device links in small server rooms
• Home or office networks requiring shielded cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Red
• Typical supported speeds: up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible; the S/FTP shielding provides protection but proper routing improves long-term signal quality. For installations in racks or conduits, allow gentle curves and secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for installations where reduced interference and clear cable identification are important. For optimal performance, pair it with compatible shielded network ports and maintain proper grounding practices in shielded cabling environments.
