Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75720 10 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75720 10m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for reliable high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. This 10-metre grey cable uses Cat6a specification and S/FTP shielding to reduce interference and support up to 10 Gbps Ethernet over suitable installations. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, providing consistent signal transfer for computers, switches, routers, and other networked devices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in crowded cable environments. The Cat6a specification enables higher bandwidth and extended performance compared with Cat5e and Cat6 in 10GBASE-T applications at shorter to medium distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer enhanced conductivity and reduced oxidation risk for stable long-term connections. The 10 metre length provides flexibility for typical desk-to-wall or equipment-rack installations while maintaining a tidy appearance in grey.

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Supported speeds: Up to 10 Gbps depending on network equipment and installation
• Use environment: Indoor

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks, or tight staples; maintain gentle curves and allow slack where the cable enters patch panels or device ports. For optimal performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and large sources of electromagnetic interference.
