Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75720-W 10 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75720-W 10m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed to deliver high-speed, reliable Ethernet connections for wired networks. Constructed with Cat6a-rated conductors and S/FTP (shielded with foil around pairs plus an overall braided shield) construction, the cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, supporting stable data transfer over a 10‑metre run. It is terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to corrosion, and comes in a white jacket that integrates discreetly into residential and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimizes alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, which improves signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies and better performance at 10 Gbps over shorter distances compared with lower categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide durable contacts and consistent electrical connection. The 10 metre length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or rack-to-wall runs while maintaining cable management neatness with a single-piece white outer jacket.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, servers, switches and routers within homes or small offices
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference and stable 10 Gigabit performance are required
• Audio/video streaming, VoIP phones and video conferencing systems
• Temporary or permanent installations in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around pairs plus overall braided shield)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: White
• Supported speeds: Up to 10 Gbps for appropriate network equipment and distances

How to use

Verify that both network devices support the desired Ethernet speed and that ports are powered off if recommended by the device manufacturer. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight loops and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain the natural bend radius of the cable and use cable ties or guides for neat management. After connecting, power on devices and confirm link lights or device indicators show an active connection and expected speeds via system diagnostics or network management tools.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or large transformers. Use cable clips or trunking for fixed installations to prevent stress at connector ends and to preserve shielding integrity. When planning 10 Gbps links, keep runs within recommended distances for Cat6a and verify network equipment compatibility.
