Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75725-HR červený 15m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-HR Red 15m Cat6 S/FTP is a 15-metre Category 6 Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired network connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil around twisted pairs plus overall braid) protection, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain stable data transmission. Equipped with standard RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it supports high-speed network links for typical gigabit Ethernet environments while offering a striking red jacket for easy identification in cable runs.

Advantages

Shielding with S/FTP construction provides improved immunity to external noise and minimizes pair-to-pair interference, which helps preserve signal integrity over longer runs. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidths and better performance than earlier categories for modern home and office networking. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion, contributing to consistent connection quality. The 15 m length covers mid-range distances between switches, routers and wall outlets while the bright red outer jacket makes the cable easy to spot during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Wiring networked devices in media rooms, server cabinets, or workstations
• Temporary or permanent cable runs for gigabit Ethernet and VoIP
• Color-coded cabling for simplified cable management and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Red
• Typical supported speeds: Up to gigabit Ethernet (depending on network hardware)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router, PC or wall outlet) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling forces on the cable to prevent damage to the internal pairs and shielding; route the cable along cable management channels or clips where possible. For best performance, keep the cable separate from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as mains power lines and unshielded electrical devices.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable within its 15 m length rating and pair it with compatible gigabit-capable network equipment. When arranging multiple cables, maintain proper bend radius and avoid kinking; use color-coded cables like this red option to simplify identification during installation and maintenance.
