Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75900-100HSP sivý 100 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75900-100HSP Grey 100m Cat6 S/FTP is a 100-metre network cable designed for structured Ethernet installations that require Cat6 performance and improved electromagnetic protection. With S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs), this cable reduces crosstalk and external interference to support stable data transmission for high-speed local networks and internet connections. The grey outer sheath offers mechanical protection and flexibility for routing in ceilings, ducts, or along walls.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable combines category-6 performance with a full braid and foil pair shielding arrangement to deliver lower alien crosstalk and enhanced immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. The 100 m length on a single spool allows continuous runs for medium to large rooms without joins, and the flexible grey sheath simplifies installation and handling. The cable is suitable for modern gigabit Ethernet setups and environments where signal integrity is important.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and high-speed LAN backbones
• Office and data-center horizontal cabling in shielded or mixed environments
• VoIP phones, networked printers, and IP cameras requiring stable connections
• Installations where reduced EMI and crosstalk are required (near power lines or dense cabling)

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 cable suitable for up to Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 100 metres on a single coil
• Colour: Grey outer sheath for neutral installation aesthetics
• Conductor type: Twisted pair construction optimized for reduced crosstalk

How to use

Measure the required run length and route the cable avoiding sharp bends and prolonged contact with heat sources. When terminating, strip the outer sheath carefully to preserve the pair shielding and braid; maintain shield continuity by properly grounding the cable at suitable patch panels or shielded connectors. Use appropriate Cat6-rated RJ45 connectors and test each link with a network tester to verify continuity, pair allocation, and performance parameters such as insertion loss and NEXT.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended limits for Cat6 installations, avoid running parallel to high-voltage AC power lines for long distances, and ensure shield termination at grounding points to realize the benefits of S/FTP protection. Use a certified tester after installation to confirm gigabit-capable links.
