Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75900-100SSP

The ShiverPeaks BS75900-100SSP is a 100 m Cat6 networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Constructed with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and a grey outer jacket, this cable provides a combination of signal integrity and a neutral aesthetic suitable for professional installations. It supports typical Cat6 performance characteristics for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and home networks where reduced electromagnetic interference and consistent throughput are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding surrounds each twisted pair and adds an overall screen to limit crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, which helps maintain stable bandwidth over longer runs. The 100 m length offers flexibility for medium to large installations without the need for multiple joins. The grey jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance and is compatible with standard Cat6 terminations and connectors.

Suitable for

• Ethernet cabling for offices and commercial facilities
• Wiring of server rooms and data closets
• Home network backbones and high-speed multimedia streaming
• Structured cabling installations requiring reduced interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 compliant cabling for gigabit networks
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded twisted pairs with overall foil)
• Length: 100 meters
• Conductor type: copper twisted pairs (solid conductors)
• Outer jacket color: grey
• Typical use: horizontal and backbone structured cabling

How to use

Route the cable through cable trays, conduits or along cable channels according to site plans and local building codes. Terminate the cable on compatible Cat6 RJ45 keystone jacks or patch panels, following proper pair orientation and maintaining twist to the termination point to preserve performance. Avoid tight bends and compressive forces; maintain recommended bend radius and separation from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Test each run with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair mapping and performance before placing into service.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in environments where electromagnetic interference is a concern and where consistent gigabit throughput is required. When installing runs longer than recommended channel lengths, consider active network components or shorter segments with patching to ensure reliable link rates. Store and handle the cable on a drum or reel to prevent kinks and maintain conductor integrity.
