Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75900-50HS 50 m Cat6 S/FTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BS75900-50HS 50m Cat6 S/FTP Grey networking cable is designed for structured Ethernet installations that require consistent high-speed data transfer and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. This 50-metre length provides flexibility for routing in medium to large rooms or between equipment racks, while the S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction reduces crosstalk and external noise for more stable network performance. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits office and home environments.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design combines overall shielding with individually foil-wrapped pairs to minimise interference from nearby cables and electronic devices. As a Cat6 cable, it supports Gigabit Ethernet and improved frequency performance compared with lower category cables. The 50m continuous length reduces the need for joins or couplers in many installations, helping maintain signal integrity. The cable's outer sheath is suitable for typical indoor routing along walls, under floors, or within cable trays.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in home or small office networks
• Wiring between network switches, routers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and file transfers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 50 metres
• Colour: Grey
• Typical use: Indoor structured cabling
• Supports: Gigabit Ethernet and frequencies up to Cat6 standards

How to use

Measure the required run length and route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Terminate the cable with compatible Cat6 connectors or keystone jacks, ensuring the foil shielding is properly grounded at one end to maintain shielding effectiveness. When installing through walls or conduits, use appropriate protection grommets and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for Cat6 to avoid degrading performance.

Recommendations

For best results in network installations, combine this Cat6 S/FTP cable with shielded connectors and properly grounded patch panels or switch ports. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep separation from large electric motors or fluorescent lighting to reduce potential interference. Regularly inspect terminations for secure connections to maintain stable high-speed links.
