Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1.0m networking cable is a one-metre patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair with overall braid) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold for improved contact conductivity and corrosion resistance, and the white jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance compared with older cable categories, making it suitable for gigabit Ethernet and many modern networking needs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and long-term reliability. The 1.0 m length reduces slack and clutter when connecting devices in close proximity.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within a desktop or rack setup
• Gigabit Ethernet networks and high-speed data transfer
• Home networks, small office workstations and media devices
• Short patch runs where a neat, concealed cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual foil around pairs)
• Length: 1.0 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: White
• Conductor type: Twisted pair (solid or stranded depending on factory variant)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your computer, switch or router and the other connector into the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the latch clicks into place for secure contact. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep it separated from power cords and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the 1.0 m length for short interconnections or patch cabling within racks and workstations.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, pair this Cat6 S/FTP cable with devices and ports that support 1000BASE-T or higher. If routing alongside power lines or in high-EMI areas, maintain physical separation where possible and verify link speed after installation. Replace any cable that shows visible damage to the jacket or connectors to maintain signal integrity.
