Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m networking cable is a category 6 patch cable designed for short-distance connections between network devices. With S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 1 metre grey cable is intended to provide stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference in office, home, or equipment-rack environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with foil around individual pairs to minimise crosstalk and external EMI, supporting consistent data throughput at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability. The Cat6 specification allows for improved performance over Cat5e in gigabit Ethernet and supports applications that require higher bandwidth and more reliable short-range links.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in LAN setups
• Patch panels and wall outlets in small server cabinets
• High-speed data transfer between NAS devices and networked workstations
• Environments where shielding is needed to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid + foiled individual pairs)
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold plating
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of each device until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from heavy electrical sources that may introduce interference. Use the cable for direct device-to-device connections, patching between network equipment, or connecting to wall outlets. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain stable connections.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short runs up to 1 metre within structured cabling or point-to-point links where shielding improves signal integrity; pair with properly grounded network equipment and compatible Cat6-rated ports to maintain performance.
