Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m networking cable is a one-meter Ethernet cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors are fitted to ensure stable contacts and consistent performance. The cable’s blue jacket provides a clear visual identifier for network installations in homes and offices.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield plus individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting more consistent throughput. The Cat6 specification enables greater bandwidth capacity than previous categories for improved performance with modern networking equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs resist corrosion and help maintain a low-resistance connection. The 1 m length offers a compact solution for connecting devices located close to switches, routers or patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or printers to a network switch or router
• Patch panel and rack wiring in small office or home network setups
• Short runs between wall ports and networked devices
• High-speed Ethernet connections for streaming, VoIP, and online gaming

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the 1 m cable for short-distance links between devices and network equipment; avoid stretching the cable or bending it sharply near the connectors to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. If connecting to a patch panel or keystone jack, ensure the receiving port supports Cat6 cabling to maintain expected performance.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, route the cable away from strong power lines and large electrical equipment that can generate electromagnetic interference. Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance connections; for longer runs consider using certified in-wall or riser-rated cables appropriate to building regulations. Regularly inspect connectors for physical damage and clean contacts if corrosion is suspected.
