Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m networking cable is a one-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It uses S/FTP shielding to protect against electromagnetic interference and features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for consistent contact and reduced signal loss. The cable comes in a vibrant yellow colour that helps with visible cable management in patch panels, desks and media cabinets.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable electrical contact, improving long-term signal integrity. The one-metre length makes this cable convenient for short connections between devices such as switches, routers and desktop computers where excess cable is undesirable.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop PC or laptop to a router or switch over short distances
• Patch panel or wall outlet to network equipment in rack or cabinet setups
• Home office or small office network installations requiring clear cable identification
• Temporary or permanent links between media devices, NAS and network switches

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (Class E)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Colour: yellow
• Supports: Gigabit Ethernet and lower-speed standards compatible with Cat6

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device until it clicks, then plug the other end into the corresponding port on the router, switch or wall outlet. For best performance ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines or large sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, visible connections where identification is important; the yellow colour helps with organised routing. For installations requiring longer runs or outdoor use, choose an appropriately rated cable length and jacket type. Regularly inspect connectors for wear and replace the cable if contact becomes unreliable.
