Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20m networking cable is a 20‑metre Ethernet cable built for wired LAN connections requiring higher bandwidth and improved interference protection. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil for pairs with overall braided shield) construction and terminates in RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating to support stable signal transmission and reduced contact corrosion. The cable’s blue jacket identifies it easily in installations and suits office, data center, and home networking setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Cat6 performance supports Gigabit Ethernet and improved headroom for high data rates compared with earlier categories. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and resistance to oxidation. The 20 m length allows flexible placement of networked equipment without additional patching or the need for extenders.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and end devices
• Wired home networks for streaming, gaming and remote work
• Small office and server rack patching where a 20 m run is required
• Structured cabling segments with requirement for shielded cable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil‑shielded pairs with overall braided shield)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between network endpoints avoiding sharp bends and tight loops; maintain a bend radius at least four times the cable diameter. Terminate each end to RJ‑45 ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards. Ensure that shield continuity is preserved at both ends when connecting to shielded equipment or metal patch panels by properly engaging the connector shield. Test the link speed and signal quality after installation with a network tester to confirm Gigabit connectivity and correct pair wiring.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high‑voltage power lines and keep a separation distance to reduce EMI. Use shielded connectors or grounded patch panels when integrating into shielded networks. Replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or connectors show wear to maintain reliable connections.
