Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20m networking cable provides a 20-metre connection with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations. Designed for wired local area networks and structured cabling, this bright yellow cable combines Category 6 performance with a foil-wrapped pair and overall braid shielding to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity over medium distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and lower contact resistance for stable high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

S/FTP construction offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, which helps sustain higher throughput and lower error rates in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The 20 m length covers typical office runs between patch panels, switches, and workstations while the bright yellow jacket simplifies cable identification and routing within network racks or mixed-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections at up to Cat6 performance levels
• Office and data-room patching between network equipment and endpoints
• Home networks requiring a durable, easily identifiable cable
• Installations near power lines or electrical equipment where shielding reduces interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: bright yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network switch, router or wall outlet and the other plug to the device requiring a wired connection, such as a PC, NAS or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the locking clip engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep a minimum bend radius consistent with Cat6 cabling practices. If used in a rack or conduit, secure the cable with appropriate ties or labels to maintain order and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances and keep service loops modest to prevent signal degradation. Use the cable for networks up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds and follow local installation standards for grounding and shield termination when connecting to shielded patch panels or equipment.
