Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 5m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 5m networking cable is a 5‑meter high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and Cat6 specification, the cable supports higher frequencies and reduced crosstalk compared to lower-category cables. It comes in a red jacket and terminating RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating to ensure consistent contact and conductivity.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to limit electromagnetic interference and improve signal integrity over the full 5 m length. Cat6 performance provides headroom for gigabit Ethernet and lower-latency applications. Gold-plated RJ‑45 plugs resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance for stable connections. The visible red jacket helps with cable identification in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and computers
• Wired connections for gaming consoles, smart TVs and media players
• Office desktop and point-of-sale network links
• Patch panels and short-run structured cabling in server rooms

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network device (router, switch or network card) and the other plug to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable link. Avoid tight bending radii and sharp kinks; route the cable along cable management paths or through cable ties with gentle curves. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for runs up to the specified 5 m length and pair it with shielded ports or properly grounded equipment where possible; avoid exceeding recommended bend radius and do not expose the cable to prolonged UV or moisture to preserve connector and jacket integrity.
