Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks SP712-SLY 2m Cat6 U/UTP žltý

The ShiverPeaks SP712-SLY 2m Cat6 U/UTP Yellow networking cable is a 2-meter Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6 performance. It uses U/UTP construction to provide consistent signal transmission for gigabit networks and standard home or office installations. RJ-45 connectors are gold-plated to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, while the bright yellow jacket provides easy identification in cabling bundles and network panels.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable supports up to 1 Gbps Ethernet speeds over typical link lengths and offers improved return-loss and crosstalk characteristics compared with lower-category cables. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs promote stable connections, and the 2 m length balances flexibility with minimal cable slack in desktop and rack setups. The yellow jacket improves visibility for maintenance and reduces the chance of accidental disconnection during reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, or networked printers to switches or routers
• Patch connections within wall plates, patch panels, and network cabinets
• Home and small-office gigabit Ethernet connections
• Temporary network setups where color-coded cabling simplifies management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with twisted-pair construction)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility
• Outer jacket color: yellow
• Typical supported speed: up to 1 Gbps over standard link distances

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router, or patch panel until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that the cable does not undergo sharp bends near the connector ends. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat6 cable for short to medium cable runs where a visible, color-coded connection is helpful. For permanent installations requiring maximum bandwidth or extended distances, consider using higher-category or shielded cabling and follow local cabling standards for routing and strain relief.
