Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks SP715-SLB modrý 5m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP715-SLB Blue 5m Cat6 U/UTP is a 5-meter Ethernet cable designed to meet Cat6 performance requirements for fast and reliable wired network connections. The cable uses U/UTP (unshielded pair with overall unshielded) construction suitable for typical home and office environments, and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The blue jacket provides easy identification in patching setups and structured cabling runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports gigabit and near-gigabit data rates over standard copper infrastructure, offering stable throughput for networked devices. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent electrical contact and help prevent signal loss at connector interfaces. The 5 m length balances flexibility and reach for desktop to wall-port connections while the blue outer sheath simplifies visual organization in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within home or small office networks
• Patch panel to wall port connections in structured cabling
• Linking gaming consoles, media players and smart TVs to wired networks
• Temporary LAN setups for meetings, events or testing

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (meets Cat6 performance class)
• Length: 5 meters
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, no overall shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: multi-strand or solid copper conductors suitable for Ethernet (standard copper wiring)
• Color: blue outer jacket
• Suitable frequency range: typical Cat6 frequency up to 250 MHz

How to use

To install, plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (PC, switch, router or wall socket) and the other into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain gentle curves to preserve transmission integrity. For permanent structured cabling, use appropriate cable management such as cable ties and trunking to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable indoors in typical residential and office conditions. Keep the cable away from high-interference sources such as large electrical motors or fluorescent lighting fixtures to minimize potential signal noise. For environments with significant electromagnetic interference or outdoor/industrial use, consider shielded or specially rated cables. Verify device port compatibility with RJ-45 connectors and replace the cable if connectors or jacket show visible damage.
