Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks SP725-SL 15m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP725-SL 15m Cat6 U/UTP is a grey network cable designed to provide reliable wired connections for home and office networks. This Cat6 cable supports high-speed Ethernet data transmission and comes with RJ-45 connectors that have gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The 15 metre length allows flexible routing between devices while maintaining signal integrity appropriate for Cat6 performance over typical local-area runs.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with U/UTP construction to balance transmission capability and interference mitigation in typical indoor installations. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and support stable links over time. The 15 m length covers most room-to-room and desk-to-switch connections without the need for extension, while the neutral grey jacket integrates unobtrusively into residential and business environments.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, laptops, NAS devices and network switches
• Connecting routers or access points to network switches or modems
• Small office and home office (SOHO) LAN cabling where a 15 m run is required
• Temporary or permanent setups for video streaming, gaming, and file transfers requiring stable wired bandwidth

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with unscreened twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking (LAN)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your device (computer, switch, router, or NAS) and the other end to the corresponding port on the networking equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and heavy crushing of the cable along its run; maintain gentle curves and route away from high-power electrical equipment where possible.

Recommendations

For consistent Cat6 performance, limit the total combined horizontal cable length according to standard Ethernet guidelines and avoid running the cable in parallel and close proximity to high-voltage power lines. If longer runs or additional EMI protection are needed, consider shielded cable variants or using network switches to segment distances.
