Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0.25m networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data connections in compact setups. Built to Category 6 specifications, this 0.25 meter cable features U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transmission and resist corrosion. The compact grey design makes it suitable for use behind network switches, patch panels, and in dense rack environments where space is limited.

Advantages

This Cat 6 cable provides predictable performance for Gigabit Ethernet and is constructed to reduce crosstalk thanks to its U/UTP shielding. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and longevity of the connector interface. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal attenuation in close-proximity connections, while the grey jacket offers a neutral visual appearance for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network devices in racks and cabinets
• Connecting switches to patch panels in data centers and telecom rooms
• Home or office setups where space-saving cable runs are required
• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat 6 performance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 6 (unshielded pairs with U/UTP overall shielding)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, Gigabit speeds

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device such as a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the corresponding port on the paired device. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best results, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it alongside high-power electrical cabling to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this 0.25 m Cat 6 cable for short, direct connections in racks and tight spaces; verify port compatibility and test link speed after installation to confirm expected performance.
