Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 15m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 15m networking cable provides a 15-meter link for wired LAN connections. It uses U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded configuration) construction designed for reliable data transmission at Cat 6 performance. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce contact corrosion. The cable is suitable for connecting computers, switches, routers and other Ethernet-enabled devices in home and small office environments.

Advantages

This Cat 6 cable offers consistent signal integrity over its 15 m length and supports higher data rates compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide improved electrical contact and lower oxidation risk. The U/UTP construction balances flexibility and performance, making the cable easy to route while maintaining twisted-pair characteristics that reduce crosstalk under typical installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktop computers and laptops
• Connecting switches, hubs and routers in home or small office networks
• Streaming media and online gaming with reduced packet loss risk
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 15 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Length: 15 meters
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded, twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: twisted pairs (4 pairs)
• Typical use: Gigabit Ethernet and lower

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device and the other into the destination device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. For wall or ceiling runs, use appropriate cable management accessories and avoid over-tightening cable ties or routing through tight conduits that could damage the cable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6 cable with network equipment that supports Gigabit speeds, keep the cable away from power lines and large motors to minimize interference, and test the connection after installation to verify link speed and stability.
