Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Kat. 6 2 m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 2m networking cable provides a 2-metre connection solution for local area networks, home offices, and professional installations. This Cat 6 cable uses U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with an overall braid or foil absent) construction suitable for 1 Gbps and higher-speed Ethernet over short runs. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, the cable is intended to deliver stable contact and reduced signal loss. The green jacket offers visual identification and a unified look within structured cabling or desktop setups.

Advantages

The cable's Cat 6 specification supports improved performance compared with lower-category cables, reducing crosstalk and providing bandwidth suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and many multimedia applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and resist corrosion. The 2 m length is practical for linking devices within the same room while avoiding excess cable clutter. The green outer sheath improves visibility and cable management in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network switches within the same room
• Home networking and small office network installations
• Streaming media, online gaming, and VoIP where stable wired connection is required
• Patch connections in wall outlets, patch panels, or network racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Jacket color: green
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Gigabit speeds over short distances

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid placing it near high-voltage power lines to limit interference. For wall-mounted or rack-mounted setups, use cable ties or cable organizers to maintain a tidy installation and prevent strain on the connectors. Test the connection after installation using network diagnostics or link LEDs on switches and network cards.
