Sieťový kábel Telegärtner CAT6a 15 m žltý S/FTP

The Telegärtner CAT6a 15m Yellow S/FTP networking cable provides a 15-metre connection designed for high-speed Ethernet networks. The cable uses S/FTP shielding and twisted-pair construction to maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Each end is fitted with an RJ-45 connector to support plug-and-play installation for devices requiring gigabit and 10 Gigabit-capable links within home and office environments.

Advantages

This CAT6a cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to foil-wrapped pairs combined with an overall braided shield, which helps to reduce crosstalk and external noise. The 15 m length covers mid-range distances between network equipment without the need for intermediate switches. The bright yellow jacket increases visibility in cable management scenarios and the robust construction is intended to withstand routine handling and installation stresses.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting routers, switches and patch panels in home or small office networks
• Wiring desktop PCs, IP phones, smart TVs and gaming consoles
• Short to mid-length runs requiring reduced interference for stable high-speed data transfer

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6a
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Yellow
• Supported applications: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (depending on network equipment)
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pairs

How to use

Check that both network devices support the intended Ethernet speed and that ports are accessible. Route the 15 m cable between the two devices, avoiding tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain a bend radius consistent with standard Ethernet cabling practice. Plug the RJ-45 connectors fully into the network ports until they click. If connecting through cable management trays or around corners, secure the cable with non-compressive ties and avoid compressing the shielded jacket to preserve shielding performance.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical motors to minimize potential interference. When installing in structured cabling runs or conduit, confirm compatibility with in-place cable bend radius and filling requirements. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible wear.
