Sieťový kábel Telegärtner MP8 FS 100-2.0 2m Cat5e F/UTP sivý

The Telegärtner MP8 FS 100-2.0 2m Cat5e F/UTP Grey is a 2-meter network patch cable designed for reliable wired connections in home, office and industrial environments. It conforms to the Cat5e standard and uses F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, providing consistent data transmission for Ethernet networks up to the Cat5e performance level. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in a neutral grey jacket suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e F/UTP cable offers stable signal integrity thanks to overall foil shielding that reduces crosstalk and external interference. The 2 m length makes it practical for short runs between network ports and devices without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and networked equipment. The cable’s outer jacket and connector strain relief provide mechanical durability for frequent plug/unplug cycles.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and IP telephones to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch links in office racks and cabinets
• Home network connections where moderate shielding is required
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling with short cable runs

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 5e (Cat5e)
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shielding, unshielded pairs)
• Length: 2 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Color: Grey
• Suitable data rates: Up to 1000 Mbps in typical Cat5e environments (actual throughput depends on equipment and network conditions)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to maintain orderly runs and avoid crushing the cable under heavy equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat5e F/UTP cable for short to medium-length connections where shielding from general electromagnetic noise is helpful. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large transformers. When higher performance or future-proofing is required, consider upgrading to Cat6 or higher standards.
