Sieťový kábel VALUE 21.99.0596 sivý 300 m Cat5e U/UTP

The VALUE 21.99.0596 Grey 300m Cat5e U/UTP networking cable is a 300-metre length of twisted-pair copper cable manufactured to Cat5e performance criteria. Constructed with unshielded twisted pairs and an overall unshielded jacket (U/UTP), the cable is intended for structured cabling installations where balanced performance and cost-efficiency are required. The neutral grey outer sheath makes it suitable for visible runs in offices, server rooms and residential environments while providing consistent signal transmission for Ethernet networks.

Advantages

This Cat5e U/UTP cable offers a balance of transmission performance and economy for typical 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T networks. Its 300 m reel provides extended run lengths without the need for frequent joins, reducing potential points of failure. The U/UTP construction minimizes crosstalk between the four twisted pairs in typical indoor environments and the grey jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance for installed cabling.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN installations (Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet at typical distances)
• Connecting routers, switches, patch panels and desktop computers
• Home networks, small offices and data closets
• Horizontal cable runs inside walls, ceilings and under raised floors (follow local building codes)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 300 m
• Colour: Grey
• Conductor: Solid copper conductors (typical for performance and termination)
• Pairs: 4 twisted pairs

How to use

Plan cable routes according to the layout of network equipment, maintaining appropriate bend radii and separation from power lines to reduce interference. Measure and cut required lengths from the 300 m reel, strip the outer jacket and terminate the individual pairs with RJ45 connectors or punch down onto patch panels using standard Cat5e termination patterns (T568A or T568B). Test completed links with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and correct wiring before putting the network into service.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power cables and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius. Use certified connectors and follow local installation codes. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where higher bandwidth is required, consider shielded cable categories or higher-rated cables.
