Sieťový patch kábel ShiverPeaks 75711-A0.5B Cat 6A S/FTP bez halogénov 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks 75711-A0.5B Cat 6A S/FTP halogen-free network patch cable, 0.5 m, is designed for high-speed Ethernet and 10 Gigabit installations where shielding and low-toxicity materials are required. Its S/FTP construction provides individually foil-shielded twisted pairs plus an overall braided shield to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and maintain signal integrity over short link segments such as patch panels, switches and server connections. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic gas emissions in case of fire and meets common requirements for commercial and data center environments.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat 6A rating supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance on short links, while S/FTP shielding improves immunity to crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. The halogen-free outer jacket provides a safer material choice for enclosed spaces. At 0.5 m length the patch cable is compact for tidy connections in rack-mounted equipment and patch panels, helping to reduce clutter and maintain airflow in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Patch panel to switch or server connections in data centers and server rooms
• High-density rack cabling where short, shielded patch cords are required
• Environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference such as audio/visual or industrial control racks
• Installations requiring halogen-free cabling for safety or regulatory reasons

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket material: halogen-free compound
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated at both ends
• Application: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet on appropriate links

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port on a switch, patch panel or server and the other RJ45 plug to the corresponding port on the paired device. For best signal performance, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and maintain the cable’s bend radius. Use these short patch cords to organize and shorten horizontal or front-panel runs; label each end if required for identification in rack layouts.

Recommendations

Route shielded patch cables together with grounded shielded infrastructure and ensure proper grounding of patch panels and equipment chassis to realize the full EMI protection. Avoid running shielded network cables in close parallel alongside high-voltage power lines to minimize residual interference.
