How to use

Place the Dahle PaperSAFE 380 on a stable, level surface and ensure the collection basket is correctly inserted before powering the unit. Feed paper into the feed opening evenly, avoiding overloading beyond the recommended capacity for particle-cut shredders. Remove staples and paper clips when possible to reduce wear on the cutting mechanism. Regularly check the basket and empty when full to maintain consistent performance and prevent jams.

Recommendations

For optimal longevity, operate the shredder in short cycles appropriate to the load, allow the motor to cool between extended runs, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance for maintenance. Use the unit indoors in a dry, dust-free environment and keep out of reach of children. Periodically inspect and, if applicable, oil the cutting heads according to the user manual to preserve cutting performance.
