Skladací bicyklový zámok FISCHER PROTEC FN110 — kalená oceľ, dĺžka 1100 mm

FISCHER PROTEC FN110 is a folding bicycle lock constructed from hardened steel with a total length of 1100 mm. The design folds into a compact shape for convenient transport and mounting to a frame or rack. Intended for everyday urban use and travel, this lock balances portability with resistance to opportunistic attacks, offering a practical solution for securing bicycles where size and ease of use matter.

Advantages

The folding mechanism allows the lock to collapse into a compact bundle that is easy to carry and mount. Hardened steel construction increases resistance to cutting and sawing compared with standard soft shackles. The lock features articulated joints that provide flexibility for securing a frame and wheel to fixed objects of varying shapes. Its length of 1100 mm gives sufficient reach to lock both frame and wheel to many common street fixtures while remaining manageable for daily transport.

Suitable for

• Commuting in urban environments
• Securing bikes during short stops or at transit stations
• Travel where compact storage and portability are important
• Locking a frame and one wheel to racks, poles or bike stands

Key specifications

• Material: hardened steel links
• Total length: 1100 mm when extended
• Folding design for compact transport
• Articulated joints for flexible positioning
• Mounting option: frame or rack attachment

How to use

Extend the folding lock to its full length and wrap it around the bicycle frame and at least one wheel, then secure it to an immovable object such as a bike rack, pole, or fence. Ensure the lock passes through the frame triangle and wheel spokes where possible to restrict wheel removal. Fold the unused sections back together and stow the lock in its mounting bracket or carry it on the frame when moving. Keep the key in a safe place and check that the locking mechanism is fully engaged before leaving the bicycle.

Recommendations

The FISCHER PROTEC FN110 is best used as part of a layered security approach: combine it with additional measures such as locking the second wheel or using a secondary cable for accessories. Avoid leaving the bicycle unattended for extended periods in high-risk areas; use a higher-security U-lock or heavy chain in such locations.
