Skrutka Cimco 190103, pozinkovaný kov, pre drevovláknité dosky, dĺžka 45 mm, priemer závitu 4 mm, 1 ks

Cimco 190103 is a single galvanized metal screw engineered for fastening in fibreboard. With a 45 mm length and a 4 mm thread diameter, this screw is intended for use in furniture assembly and interior joinery where medium-density chipboard or similar fibreboard materials are present. Galvanization provides surface corrosion resistance, making the screw suitable for indoor environments where occasional exposure to humidity may occur.

Advantages

The galvanized finish offers enhanced protection against rust compared with untreated steel, extending service life in normal indoor conditions. The 45 mm length and 4 mm thread diameter balance holding strength and ease of insertion into fibreboard without excessive splitting. Supplied as a single piece, this screw allows for precise selection when individual fasteners are needed for repair or custom assembly.

Key specifications

How to use

Choose an appropriate pilot hole size for the 4 mm thread to prevent splitting of the fibreboard; typically a small pilot hole slightly smaller than the minor diameter of the screw thread is used. Position the screw at the required fastening point and drive it with a manual screwdriver or a low-torque cordless driver to avoid over-tightening, which can strip the fibreboard or compress the material. For best results, avoid driving the screw too close to board edges and ensure the mating component is properly supported during fastening.

Recommendations

When assembling furniture or attaching fittings to fibreboard, use a pilot hole and moderate driving torque. For applications exposed to higher humidity, consider additional corrosion protection or using stainless fasteners. Store the screw in a dry place to maintain the galvanized coating.
