Skrutka Fischer 670381 70 mm 200 kusov

FISCHER 70 mm metal wood screws offer a reliable fastening solution for a range of woodworking and construction tasks. Each pack contains 200 screws with a 5 mm nominal diameter and a thread length of 42 mm, designed to deliver firm grip in wooden substrates. The screws are length-optimized for joining medium-thickness timber elements and for applications where a durable metal fastener is required.

Advantages

These metal wood screws combine a standard 5 mm diameter with a 70 mm overall length to provide secure connections with sufficient shank length for structural and non-structural wood joints. The 42 mm threaded portion improves pull-out resistance while the smooth shank section reduces splitting in timber during installation. Supplied in a bulk pack of 200, they are suitable for repetitive tasks and professional workflows, reducing the need for frequent restocking.

Suitable for

• Joining timber elements in furniture assembly
• Mounting wooden panels, battens and brackets
• General carpentry and woodwork repairs
• Construction tasks requiring metal screws for wood

Key specifications

• Overall length: 70 mm
• Nominal diameter: 5 mm
• Thread length: 42 mm
• Material: metal
• Pack quantity: 200 pieces
• Intended substrate: wood

How to use

Pre-drill a pilot hole appropriate to the screw diameter and the timber type to reduce splitting and ensure accurate alignment. Position the screw and drive it with a compatible screwdriver bit or power driver at moderate speed, keeping the tool perpendicular to the workpiece. For hardwoods or structural connections, consider a slightly larger pilot hole and verify that the screw length provides adequate embedment without protruding through the opposite face.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant screws or appropriate surface treatment if installing in exterior or high-humidity environments. Store the screws in a dry place to prevent surface corrosion and use matching screwdriver bits to avoid head cam‑out and damage during installation.
