Refraktorový teleskop Skywatcher BK 1141 EQ1 114mm apertúra 1000mm ohnisková vzdialenosť

The Skywatcher BK 1141 EQ1 refractor telescope is a compact optical instrument with a 114 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length, intended for visual observation of the Moon, planets and brighter deep-sky objects. Its moderate focal ratio delivers a balance between magnification potential and field of view, while the supplied EQ1 equatorial-style mount provides a stable, manually operated platform for tracking celestial objects. The design emphasizes portability and straightforward setup for amateur astronomers and hobbyists who need a reliable instrument for backyard observing sessions.

Advantages

The optical design with a 114 mm aperture offers increased light-gathering compared with small beginner scopes, improving contrast and detail on lunar and planetary targets. The 1000 mm focal length provides practical magnification with a variety of eyepieces while maintaining a usable field of view for star clusters and brighter nebulae. The included EQ1-style mount allows polar-aligned manual tracking, reducing apparent motion for easier observation of objects at higher magnifications. The overall package is compact and transportable, suitable for users who require a balance of performance and convenience.

Suitable for

• Visual observation of the Moon and planets
• Observing brighter deep-sky objects such as open clusters and some nebulae
• Backyard astronomy and casual field trips
• Amateur astronomers learning equatorial alignment and manual tracking

Key specifications

• Optical type: Refractor telescope
• Aperture: 114 mm
• Focal length: 1000 mm
• Focal ratio: approximately f/8.8
• Mount type: Equatorial-style EQ1 manual mount
• Portability: Compact and suitable for transport to observing sites

How to use

Set the telescope on a stable, level surface and assemble the optical tube and EQ1 mount according to the included mechanical instructions. Perform an initial polar alignment of the equatorial-style mount to enable manual tracking of celestial objects; coarse alignment is sufficient for casual observing. Start with a low-power eyepiece to locate the target, then switch to higher magnification eyepieces as conditions and seeing permit. Use slow, deliberate movements of the mount controls to follow objects across the sky and re-center them as needed.

Recommendations

Observe from a site with minimal local lighting for improved contrast. Allow the telescope to reach ambient temperature before detailed planetary observation to reduce thermal currents. Use a variety of eyepieces to match magnification to seeing conditions, and practice polar alignment to make manual tracking more effective.
