Slepá matica GESIPA M6 9×15,5 mm pre materiály od 0,25–3,5 mm, plochá zaoblená hlava

GESIPA blind rivet nut M6, dimension 9×15.5 mm with a flat round head is a one-sided installation fastener designed for sheet and panel materials from 0.25 to 3.5 mm thickness. It creates a permanent internal M6 thread when installed from the accessible side, eliminating the need for access to the reverse face. The flat round head provides a neat surface finish and distributes load over a larger contact area, while the blind rivet nut design offers resistance to vibration and reliable retention in metal, plastic and composite thin panels.

Advantages

The GESIPA M6 blind rivet nut is suitable for single-sided assembly where access to the backside is restricted. Its flat round head ensures even pressure distribution and a low-profile appearance on the installation surface. The blind installation method produces a strong, reusable internal thread that withstands shear and tensile loads typical for small- and medium-duty fastening applications. Compatibility with materials from 0.25 mm to 3.5 mm makes it versatile for automotive panels, enclosures, appliances and light structural assemblies.

How to use

Drill a hole of the correct diameter for the 9×15.5 mm rivet nut in the workpiece according to the manufacturer's recommended hole size. Insert the blind rivet nut from the accessible side so the flat round head sits flush on the surface. Use a compatible rivet nut setting tool or riveter designed for blind rivet nuts to expand the body and form a secure clamp against the reverse side of the panel. After setting, verify the M6 internal thread by fitting an M6 screw or bolt; ensure the connection is secure and free of play.

Recommendations

For best results, select the correct hole diameter and a rivet nut tool rated for M6 installation. When working with soft plastics or thin materials, consider backing support or thicker washers to avoid material pull-through. Inspect installed rivet nuts for proper deformation and thread integrity before final assembly and apply thread locking if needed for high-vibration environments.
