SSD disk HPE 240 GB 2,5 palca SATA MLC P18420-B21

The HPE P18420-B21 is a 240 GB 2.5" SATA MLC SSD designed for servers and workstations that need improved responsiveness for data-intensive applications. With a 6 Gbit/s interface and read/write speeds up to 505/255 MB/s, this internal SSD provides higher IOPS and enhanced endurance compared with standard consumer drives, making it suitable for mixed-use and read-intensive workloads in enterprise environments.

Advantages

HPE mixed-use SSDs deliver higher random read/write IOPS and greater endurance, backed by extensive testing and qualification. Value SAS models offer roughly twice the IOPS of SATA SSDs for improved transactional database performance, while HPE features such as digitally signed firmware, Smart Carrier icons, a "do not remove" button, and the SmartSSD Wear Gauge support drive security and lifecycle monitoring.

Suitable for

• Database and transactional workloads
• Big data analytics and data warehousing
• Virtualization and cloud server environments
• Active archiving and read-intensive applications
