Stan Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 — 8-osobový, pevný rám, 15,7 m², sivá/oranžová

Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 is an 8-person tent with a rigid steel frame and a total floor area of 15.7 m², designed to provide a spacious sheltered area for family and group camping. The tent has a polyester flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet, a single hinged door and a compact packed size for transport. WeatherTec™ construction and fire-retardant fabric contribute to protection and safety in typical outdoor conditions, while the tent’s octagonal shape offers a full 360° view of the surroundings. The package includes a wheeled carry bag for easier movement on site.

Advantages

The hard frame with a hinged rigid door improves structural stability and makes entry and exit quicker and quieter than standard zip-only doors. The WeatherTec™ system and the polyester/polyethylene combination provide rain resistance measured by hydrostatic head principles, helping to keep the interior dry in ordinary wet conditions. Fire-retardant fabric reduces the risk of fabric flare and supports safer use around cooking or heating sources. The wheeled carry bag simplifies transport of the 20.7 kg tent between storage and pitch.

How to use

Choose a level, clear pitch and lay out the polyethylene groundsheet. Unpack the tent from the wheeled carry bag and assemble the steel frame according to the frame joints so the structure becomes self-supporting. Fit the polyester flysheet over the frame and secure all fixings, pegging the groundsheet and guy lines as required for site conditions. Use the hinged door to enter and exit the tent without operating zips when convenient. Follow any printed assembly instructions supplied with the product for details on pole connections and pegging patterns.

Recommendations

Inspect the tent fabric, seams and frame before each trip; re-tension guy lines in windy conditions and avoid open flames or direct heat sources inside the tent despite the fire-retardant treatment. For best waterproof performance, ensure seams and flysheet are correctly positioned and allow the tent to dry before packing to prevent mildew. Use the wheeled carry bag to move the packed tent over short distances on level ground.
