Štartovacie káble GYS 056336 3,5 m 25 mm² 500 A zliatina medi

Jump cables GYS 056336 3.5 m 25 mm² 500 A copper alloy are starter leads designed to transfer high starting currents between batteries. With a 3.5 m length and 25 mm² conductor cross-section made from a copper alloy, these cables provide a balance of flexibility and current-carrying capacity for use with passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Robust insulated clamps and reinforced cabling construction aim to ensure safe and reliable jump-starting and roadside assistance.

Advantages

The 25 mm² cross-section and copper alloy conductors deliver consistent current flow while maintaining manageable cable flexibility. Rated for 500 A, the cables support high starting currents typical of automotive batteries. Heavy-duty insulated clamps provide secure electrical contact and operator protection, and the 3.5 m length offers sufficient reach between vehicles without excessive slack. The overall construction emphasizes durability and repeated use in standard roadside or garage conditions.

How to use

Position both vehicles so that the batteries are within the cable reach and switch off engines, lights and accessories. Attach one clamp to the positive terminal of the donor battery and the other positive clamp to the recipient battery's positive terminal. Connect a negative clamp to the donor battery negative terminal and attach the remaining negative clamp to a solid unpainted metal earth point on the recipient vehicle, away from the battery. Start the donor vehicle, allow the donor battery to supply charge for a short period, then attempt to start the recipient vehicle. After successful start, remove clamps in the reverse order of connection and stow cables safely. Follow vehicle manufacturers' safety instructions and ensure clamps do not touch each other while connected.

Recommendations

Inspect cables and clamps regularly for damage to insulation or clamp jaws before each use. Use the 3.5 m length to position vehicles with adequate clearance and avoid overstretching. For vehicles with very large engines or severely discharged batteries, consider higher-capacity jumper cables or a dedicated booster pack. Store cables dry and protected from corrosive environments to maintain connector integrity and cable performance.
