Description: Discover one of the greatest naval legends of World War II! Here is the warship BISMARCK in a 1:300 collectors scale! The Bismarck battleship model in 1:300 scale was designed with the most demanding collectors in mind. As many as 3,204 precisely crafted bricks allow you to faithfully recreate the ships silhouette, its superstructure, armament, and characteristic proportions. The dimensions of the finished model make it one of the most impressive naval sets in the COBI lineup in 1:300 scale. The Origin and Significance of the Battleship Bismarck Bismarck was the first of two Bismarck-class battleships built for the German Kriegsmarine. Launched on February 14, 1939, and commissioned in August 1940, it represented the pinnacle of German naval engineering in battleship construction. The ship stood out with its enormous displacement (over 45,000 tons), heavy armor, and powerful main armament consisting of eight 380 mm guns mounted in four twin turrets. In May 1941, Bismarck embarked on its only combat mission into the Atlantic. Its objective was to attack Allied convoys. The climax of the operation was the Battle of the Denmark Strait, during which Bismarck sank the British battlecruiser HMS Hood, the pride of the Royal Navy. This success made the German battleship the number one target for the British fleet. After an intense pursuit, on May 26, 1941, Bismarck was cornered by 15 Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers and heavily damaged. The following day, British battleships reached Bismarck and, after a short battle, sank the crippled giant. Although its service was brief, it has forever been remembered as one of the most famous warships in history. How to use

Unpack the set and sort the pieces by type and color to streamline the assembly process. Follow the printed instruction manual step by step, completing each module before combining them into the full hull and superstructure. Use a clean, well-lit workspace and a flat surface for aligning plates and long sections. For handling small parts, tweezers or a small parts tray can help maintain order. After assembly, secure modules according to the instructions to ensure the model remains stable during display or transport.

Recommendations

Allow several dedicated sessions for assembly due to the set's high piece count; plan breaks and verify sub-assemblies for correct alignment before final integration to prevent disassembly or damage. Keep small parts away from young children and store unused pieces in labeled containers to simplify future repairs or modifications.
