Stavebnica mramorovej dráhy Ravensburger GraviTrax Junior Starter-Set S Wüstenstrecke, model 24585

Ravensburger 24585 Toy marble run is an active/skill construction set designed for children aged 3–7. This compact Starter Set S format introduces basic physics and cause-and-effect through gravity-driven marble runs and desert-themed elements. The set contains sized components and simplified connections adapted for small hands, enabling guided or independent play that supports fine motor development, spatial reasoning and early problem-solving in home or classroom environments.

Advantages

The set uses gravity-powered mechanics to make motion intuitive and immediately visible, so children can directly observe how layout changes affect marble paths. Components are simplified and robust, reducing assembly complexity while preserving constructive variability. Desert-themed parts provide contextual play cues that encourage imaginative scenarios and repeated experimentation without requiring advanced building skills.

Suitable for

• Early STEM and introductory physics exploration for preschool and early primary children
• Developing fine motor skills and spatial reasoning through hands-on construction
• Guided play sessions at home, daycare or classroom activities
• Short-format play and compact storage needs where a small starter set is preferred

Key specifications

• Age range: designed for children approximately 3–7 years old
• Mechanics: gravity-powered marble-run system for visualizing motion and cause-and-effect
• Format: compact Starter Set S suitable for small play areas and easy storage
• Theming: desert-themed decorative elements to support imaginative play
• Materials: durable plastic components for repeated use in play and learning settings

How to use

Unpack the components and identify the base pieces, track segments, marbles and decorative desert parts. Use the included pictorial guide to assemble a basic layout, place a marble at the start point and release it to observe motion. Experiment by changing heights, angles and connections to explore different outcomes and discuss observations such as speed changes, direction shifts and the role of gravity. Provide adult guidance for the first builds to demonstrate safe handling and correct assembly.

Recommendations

Adult supervision is recommended for children under the suggested age. Regularly inspect parts for wear and keep small pieces stored together in a container. Combine additional sets to increase layout complexity and extend learning opportunities.
