The wired table microphone provides consistent omnidirectional audio pickup tailored for voice, supporting clear capture across a wide frequency range from 80 Hz to 20 kHz. Its 4-pin Hirose interface ensures a secure, manufacturer-compatible connection to supported IP phones. The compact and low-profile capsule design enables unobtrusive placement on tables or flush through ceilings, while the white finish integrates with typical office and meeting-room interiors. Build characteristics target reliable hands-free conferencing and reduced setup complexity when paired with compatible Cisco devices.

How to use

Position the microphone on a fixed table near the usual speaking area or install it through an appropriate ceiling opening to achieve discreet placement. Connect the unit to a compatible IP phone or conferencing device using the 4-pin Hirose jack plug; ensure the mating connector on the host device is designed for this microphone interface. After connection, verify device settings and audio levels on the phone or conferencing system and run an audio check before meetings. Keep the capsule free of obstructions and avoid placing it directly beside noisy equipment that may introduce interference.

Recommendations

For best voice clarity, place the microphone centrally on the table and ensure it faces the general speaking area. When covering larger rooms, combine multiple Cisco table microphones or complementary ceiling microphones as recommended by the conferencing system documentation. Regularly inspect the connector and cable for secure seating and minimal wear; follow the host device manual for firmware and audio configuration to maintain optimal performance.
