Stropný reproduktor Omnitronic CST-608 2-pásmový 8 Ω 60 W

Omnitronic CST-608 is a ceiling-mounted 2-way speaker with an 8 Ω impedance and 60 W power rating, designed for background music and public-address installations. The compact round design houses a dedicated woofer and tweeter that deliver balanced midrange and clear high frequencies, making it suitable for rooms, corridors and retail spaces where unobtrusive, reliable audio coverage is required.

Advantages

The two-way configuration separates low/mid reproduction from high frequencies for improved clarity and intelligibility compared with single-driver ceiling units. With an 8 Ω nominal impedance and a 60 W power handling capacity, the speaker is compatible with a wide range of commercial amplifiers and multi-zone systems. The flush-mount design facilitates discreet installation in suspended and solid ceilings while maintaining a low visual profile.

How to use

Plan speaker positions to ensure even coverage and avoid placing the unit too close to HVAC vents or reflective surfaces that could affect sound distribution. Connect the speaker to an appropriate amplifier or multi-channel receiver matched to an 8 Ω load and up to the recommended power rating. Insert the speaker into a cut-out in the ceiling, secure the retaining clamps or screws according to the mounting method, and attach the grille. Test audio at low volume, then increase to the required level while checking for distortion or loose connections.

Recommendations

For optimal speech intelligibility and background music performance, use a crossover or processor when integrating multiple ceiling speakers with subwoofers, and keep each speaker within its power handling limits. Regularly inspect mounting fittings and wiring in commercial installations to maintain safety and consistent audio quality.
