Suché krmivo pre psov Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Junior 2,5 kg — hydina, pre mladé psy s problémami s črevami

Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal Junior is a dry puppy food formulated for puppies under 12 months with digestive disorders such as acute or chronic diarrhoea, maldigestion, malabsorption, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), colitis, gastritis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) and reduced appetite. The formula combines highly digestible proteins, prebiotics, rice, sugar beet pulp and fish oil to support digestive function, and provides a high energy density to meet growth requirements while limiting meal volume.

Advantages

The recipe uses L.I.P.* proteins selected for high digestibility together with prebiotics and fermentable fibre (sugar beet pulp) to promote digestive stability and balanced intestinal flora. A concentrated energy content helps fulfil puppies' energy needs for growth while reducing the amount of food per meal and the associated digestive workload. Kibble size, texture and shape are adapted for easy rehydration to encourage intake in weak or inappetent puppies.

How to use

Follow dosing guidelines on the packaging based on the puppy's current body weight and clinical condition. For puppies with digestive problems, food can be softened with warm water or broth to improve palatability and facilitate rehydration. Offer meals in small, frequent portions and monitor stool quality and appetite; adjust feeding amounts according to veterinary guidance.

Recommendations

Use under veterinary supervision for diagnosis and monitoring when feeding for specific digestive disorders. Introduce the diet gradually over 2–3 days unless otherwise directed by a veterinarian; for acute severe conditions, follow immediate veterinary advice.
