The TESA 55224-00003 hook/loop fastener in white is a narrow, flexible fastening strip measuring 20 mm in width and 1000 mm in length. Designed for removable and reclosable joining, this hook-and-loop tape offers a practical solution for temporary or semi-permanent attachments on a variety of surfaces. The product combines a hook side and a loop side that interlock to provide secure holding while allowing repeated opening and closing without tools.

Advantages

This hook/loop fastener provides a balance of holding strength and ease of use in a compact 20 mm width. Its white colour integrates discreetly into light-coloured fabrics and surfaces. The 1000 mm length gives flexibility to cut to desired sizes for custom applications. The fastening system is suitable for repeated use and retains functionality after multiple cycles, making it appropriate for projects that require adjustability or periodic access.

• Crafters and hobby projects including sewn or glued assemblies
• Home organisation tasks like securing cushions, covers or cable runs
• Office fixes for cable management, display mounting and removable signage

Key specifications

• Colour: white
• Width: 20 mm
• Length: 1000 mm
• Type: hook and loop fastening tape
• Application: reclosable fastening for textiles and many smooth surfaces

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 1000 mm strip using scissors. Position the hook and loop sides on the corresponding surfaces, press firmly to interlock the fastening elements and, if necessary, attach with stitches or adhesive appropriate for the mounting surface to increase security. For textile applications, sew the tape along the edges; for rigid or non-porous surfaces, use a compatible adhesive or a mechanical fixing method suitable for the substrate.

Recommendations

Before final attachment, test the fastener on a small area of the chosen material to confirm compatibility and holding performance. Keep the contact surfaces clean and dry for best adhesion; avoid exposing the fastener to excessive heat or abrasive conditions that can reduce its life cycle.
