Targus Sustainable Energy Harvesting EcoSmart klávesnica univerzálna Bluetooth QWERTY Severská Čierna

The Targus Sustainable Energy Harvesting EcoSmart keyboard is a full-size QWERTY Nordic Bluetooth keyboard in black that combines solar energy harvesting, recycled materials and antimicrobial protection. Constructed using up to 85% post-consumer recycled material and recycled packaging, the keyboard is primarily powered by amorphous silicon photovoltaic cells optimised to harvest light from a variety of conditions including indoor artificial lighting. It connects to multiple devices via an ultra-low-power Atmosic™ ATM3 series Bluetooth SoC and features scissor key switches and LED backlighting for a responsive typing experience.

Advantages

The keyboard offers extended operation from ambient and artificial indoor light through energy-harvesting solar cells, significantly reduced power consumption thanks to a low-power Bluetooth chipset, and durable antimicrobial protection infused into the product to help prevent microbial growth for the life of the keyboard. Its construction from recycled materials and recycled packaging supports a lower environmental footprint while maintaining a full-size ergonomic layout and multi-device Bluetooth connectivity.

Suitable for

• Office and home workstations requiring a full-size QWERTY layout
• Users who prefer wireless Bluetooth connectivity for up to three devices
• Environments where reduced power consumption and sustainable materials are priorities
• Shared workspaces where continuous antimicrobial protection is desired

How to use

Place the keyboard in typical indoor lighting to allow the built-in solar cells to harvest energy; the keyboard can operate from ambient or artificial indoor light. Pair the keyboard with a device via Bluetooth following the device’s Bluetooth pairing procedure and use the multi-device switch to connect up to three devices. Use the keyboard as a standard full-size QWERTY input with scissor key switches and LED backlighting enabled as needed. No batteries are required for normal operation when adequate light is available.

Recommendations

Position the keyboard where it receives regular ambient or artificial light to maintain power; avoid covering the solar area. For reliable multi-device use, keep Bluetooth enabled on paired devices and switch between them using the keyboard’s device-select controls. Clean the keyboard with a dry or slightly damp cloth; antimicrobial protection is embedded and does not replace regular cleaning.
