The Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5714 is a dry and steam iron with 2400 W of power and a Durilium soleplate designed for smooth gliding across a variety of fabrics. It combines steam and dry ironing modes and includes a vertical steam function for refreshing hanging garments. Compact dimensions and a 2 m power cord allow flexible handling during ironing sessions. The iron has a water tank capacity of 0.27 L and weighs approximately 1.295 kg; its housing is finished in bordeaux and white.

Advantages

The Durilium soleplate provides uniform heat distribution and low friction for easier motion over textiles. A 2400 W heater ensures rapid heat-up and consistent steam generation for efficient crease removal. The integrated vertical steam function enables convenient steaming of curtains and suits without a board. A moderate water tank capacity balances runtime and compact size, while the 2 m cord enhances reach and maneuverability.

Suitable for

• Ivy fabrics and cotton shirts requiring regular ironing
• Light to medium household ironing loads
• Quick steaming of hanging garments, curtains and blouses
• Users who prefer a compact, easy-to-handle iron with reliable performance

Use the dry mode or lower steam settings for delicate fabrics. After use, unplug the appliance, empty any remaining water and store when the soleplate has fully cooled.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water if local tap water is hard to reduce mineral buildup. Check fabric labels and start with lower temperature settings for delicate materials. Regularly clean the soleplate according to the manufacturer's instructions to maintain gliding performance.
