Telegärtner CAT6a 25 m sieťový kábel červený S/FTP RJ-45

The Telegärtner CAT6a 25m networking cable in red with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors is designed for high-speed wired network links up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet where cable length and signal integrity matter. The cable’s CAT6a category and screened foiled twisted pair construction reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent data transmission across a 25 meter run. The integrated RJ-45 plugs provide a ready-to-install connection for switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices that accept standard 8P8C connectors.

Advantages

This networking cable combines CAT6a performance with S/FTP (overall braid plus individual foil around each pair) shielding to improve noise immunity in electrically noisy environments. The 25 meter length covers mid-range cabling needs without intermediate patch points. The red outer jacket aids visual identification in cable management and rack installations. Gold-plated contacts in the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet connections within home, office or data centre environments
• Structured cabling between switches, patch panels and wall sockets over a 25 m span
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where S/FTP shielding improves link stability
• Visible cable runs where colour-coding simplifies identification and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6a (augmented performance for frequencies up to 500 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus foil around each twisted pair
• Length: 25 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) terminated on both ends
• Colour: Red outer jacket for easy identification
• Compatible speeds: Up to 10 Gbps depending on network equipment and installation

How to use

Uncoil the Telegärtner CAT6a cable and route it through the intended cable path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into compatible ports on switches, routers or network devices until the latch clicks. For best results, maintain proper bend radii and avoid placing the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances. If terminating into keystone jacks or patch panels, verify the wiring standard (TIA/EIA 568A or 568B) and ensure consistent pair termination on both ends.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP CAT6a cable for installations where shielding is beneficial, such as near electrical equipment or within dense cable bundles. Label both ends for easier management, and periodically inspect connector contacts and jacket integrity. When deploying at full 10 Gbps speeds, ensure connected hardware and patch panels are rated for CAT6a performance to achieve expected throughput.
