Tepelno-reflexná fólia Tesa 55157

The tesamoll Heat reflector foil is made of a special insulating foam coated with aluminum foil. Using double-sided self-adhesive tape or any other bonding agent it can easily be attached behind wall-mounted radiators. Serving as an effective radiator foil it prevents thermal loss of energy through the walls by reflecting the heat generated by the radiator back into the room. Applied correctly, this aluminum heat reflecting foil is able to considerably reduce the amount of energy needed to keep a room comfortably warm.

Advantages

The Heat reflector foil Tesa 55157 is lightweight and flexible, with an aluminium-coated foam surface that reflects radiant heat. Its dimensions (1 m × 700 mm) make it suitable for standard radiators. The product is easy to handle and install when used with appropriate fixing materials; it improves energy efficiency by reducing heat loss through external walls. Fixing materials are not included.

Suitable for

• Installation behind wall-mounted radiators in homes
• Use in offices and commercial spaces to reduce heating costs
• Retrofit projects to improve thermal performance of existing radiators

How to use

Measure the area behind the radiator and cut the Heat reflector foil Tesa 55157 to the required size. Clean the wall surface to ensure good adhesion. Attach the foil behind the radiator using double-sided self-adhesive tape or another appropriate adhesive, ensuring the aluminium-coated side faces the radiator to reflect heat into the room. Make sure the foil is positioned flat and continuous along the wall behind the radiator for best performance.

Recommendations

For optimal results use appropriate heat-resistant adhesive or double-sided tape suitable for wall surfaces; avoid contact with hot surfaces beyond normal radiator temperatures and ensure any electrical or plumbing fittings are not obstructed by the foil. Regularly check adhesion and replace fixing materials if they deteriorate.
