Key specifications

• Power: 2300 W
• Power source: corded electric
• Temperature: adjustable control to match material requirements
• Handle style: pistol grip for controlled handling
• Airflow: continuous hot air output suitable for heating and stripping tasks

How to use

Hold the Steinel HM 2320 E by its pistol grip and set the temperature control to the required level for the material you are working with. Direct the nozzle toward the work surface at a safe distance and move the tool steadily to avoid overheating or scorching. For paint and varnish removal, start at a moderate temperature and increase gradually until the coating softens. For shrink tubing, apply even heat while rotating or adjusting the part until the tubing contracts evenly. Always allow the tool to cool before storing.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves and eye protection when operating the heat gun. Test temperature settings on a small, inconspicuous area before applying heat to the full surface. Maintain a safe distance between the nozzle and combustible materials, and ensure adequate ventilation when working with coatings or adhesives that can emit fumes.
