tesa 53988 Elektroizolačná páska, PVC, čierna, 25 m x 50 mm, 0,15 mm hrúbka, samozhášacia 53988-00004-00

Electrical insulating tape made of PVC film with rubber adhesive, providing reliable insulation and protection for electrical connections up to 6 kV. The tape is flame retardant and self-extinguishing, ensuring safety in electrical installations.

Advantages

The tape offers good UV resistance and remains flexible at low temperatures down to -5 °C. Its high dielectric strength of 5 kV and elongation at break of 220% allow for secure wrapping and long-lasting performance.

Suitable for

• Insulating electrical wires and connections
• Bundling and marking cables
• Protecting against abrasion and moisture

Key specifications

• Backing material: PVC film
• Adhesive type: rubber
• Total thickness: 0.15 mm
• Adhesion to steel: 2.5 N/cm
• Tensile strength: 25 N/cm
• Temperature resistance: -5 °C to +90 °C

Recommendations

For best results, apply the tape under tension with a 50% overlap on clean, dry surfaces. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
