Teplomer TFA-Dostmann 30.3056.10 digitálny plast na batérie -40 až 60 °C

The TFA-Dostmann 30.3056.10 wireless floating solar pool thermometer VENICE lets you monitor water temperature in your pool or pond from indoors. The device floats and transmits temperature readings wirelessly to the indoor station, while also showing the measured value on its own display. The thermometer provides measurement down to 180 mm depth and shows current and historical extremes. The indoor station additionally displays indoor climate information at the installation location and the exact time and date. Up to seven additional thermo-hygro transmitters can be connected optionally (sold separately).

Advantages

The thermometer offers wireless transmission to a base station and a separate display on the floating unit, providing redundant readout options. Solar power on the floating sensor reduces battery consumption, while the 180 mm measurement depth and display of highest/lowest temperatures increase reliability. The indoor station’s combined time/date and indoor climate readout adds convenience, and compatibility with up to seven extra transmitters allows system expansion.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Monitoring swimming pool water temperature from inside the home
• Checking pond temperature for fish and garden use
• Quick onsite temperature checks using the sensor’s built-in display
• Integrated monitoring when used with additional thermo-hygro transmitters

How to use

Place the floating sensor on the pool or pond surface so it can float freely and receive sunlight for its solar-assisted power. Position the indoor base station within wireless range and insert the required AAA batteries. The sensor will transmit temperature readings to the base station automatically; the current water temperature can also be read directly on the sensor’s display. Optionally pair additional thermo-hygro transmitters to the base station following the manufacturer pairing instructions.

Recommendations

For reliable readings, ensure the floating sensor is not obstructed by pool covers or heavy debris and receives sufficient daylight for solar assistance. Replace batteries in the base station as recommended by the manufacturer and avoid submerging the indoor station. Use the device within the specified temperature range and consult the manual when adding extra transmitters.
