Tlakové čerpadlo Kärcher BP 5 Home & Garden

The Kärcher BP 5 Home & Garden is a compact, maintenance-free pressure pump designed to use alternative water sources for household and garden supply. With a 1000 W motor, a maximum pressure of 4.8 bar and a flow rate up to 6000 l/h, the pump supports irrigation, supplying water to washing machines or bathrooms, and other processed water applications. The unit features an automatic start/stop function, dry-run protection with fault indicator, an integrated pre-filter and check valve, and comes with a 5-year extended warranty option.

Advantages

The 4-stage drive provides high efficiency and smooth operation, enabling about 30% lower motor power at the same flow rate compared with conventional jet pumps. The pump includes two outputs for simultaneous connection of two devices, an integrated foot switch for easy control and sound-absorbing rubber feet for reduced noise. Built-in safety features such as the pre-filter, dry-run protection and check valve ensure reliable and low-maintenance operation.

How to use

Install the pump on a level, stable surface and connect the suction hose to the water source and the discharge hose to the intended appliance or irrigation system. Ensure the pre-filter is fitted and the check valve orientation is correct. Switch on the power; the automatic start/stop function will operate the pump according to demand. If the pump runs dry, the dry-run protection will switch it off and indicate a fault—resolve the water supply issue before resetting.

Recommendations

Use appropriate hoses and fittings rated for the specified pressure and flow. Regularly check and clean the pre-filter to maintain performance. Do not operate the pump with a blocked inlet or without water supply to avoid triggering the dry-run protection.
