Trekingová palica LEKI turistická palica Makalu FX TA teleskopická unisex 255 g 110-145 cm

The LEKI Wanderstock Makalu FX TA is a telescopic trekking pole designed for unisex use. Weighing approximately 255 g, the pole adjusts continuously from 110 cm to 145 cm to suit a range of user heights and trekking conditions. Constructed with an aluminium HTS 6.5 shaft, it aims to combine stability and durability while remaining lightweight for extended hikes. The pole features an AERGON Thermo grip and a breathable Skin Strap for comfortable hand contact, and uses the Speed Lock 2 adjustment system for rapid, secure length changes. The Makalu design is compatible with Flextip accessories and includes features to improve grip and reduce sinking on soft ground.

Advantages

The AERGON Thermo grip provides an edgeless, ergonomic surface that adapts to different hand shapes and weather conditions, while the Skin Strap adds comfort with minimal additional weight. The Speed Lock 2 system enables fast, tool-free telescopic adjustment with increased holding force and compact dimensions compared with earlier lock versions. An aluminium HTS 6.5 shaft delivers a balance of stiffness and resilience for varied terrain. Compatibility with Flextip and effective anti-sink features make the pole versatile across rock, soil and snow.

Suitable for

• Trekking and hiking on mixed terrain
• Nordic walking and long-distance walking
• Mountain ascents and descents requiring reliable support
• Winter hikes where reduced sinking is beneficial

For soft ground or snow, attach appropriate Flextip accessories to improve stability and prevent sinking.

Recommendations

Check the locking mechanism and strap condition before each outing. For best performance, set pole length so your elbow is slightly bent at about 90–120° when the pole tip contacts the ground; shorten on uphill sections and lengthen on descents. Clean and dry the pole after exposure to mud or salt to maintain the locking system and shaft integrity.
