Uhlová brúska Metabo W 18 L 9-125

The Metabo W 18 L 9-125 is a cordless angle grinder designed for versatile cutting and grinding tasks. It accepts 125 mm (12.5 cm) discs, runs on the 18 V battery platform, and features an M14 spindle thread. With a maximum no-load speed of 8,500 RPM and a lightweight 1.6 kg body, this model combines mobility with easy handling for professional and DIY use.

Advantages

The grinder offers tool-free disc change via the Metabo Quick quick-locking nut and a tool-free adjustable, twist-proof guard. Electronic safety shutdown reduces kickback if the disc jams, while electronic soft start ensures smooth start-up. Restart protection prevents unintentional starting after a battery change. Its slim, ergonomic design with a small grip circumference enables low-fatigue work.

Suitable for

• Cutting metal and steel sheets
• Grinding welds and removing rust
• Cutting tiles and masonry with appropriate discs
• On-site work where mains power is not available

Key specifications

How to use

Fit a compatible 125 mm disc onto the M14 spindle and secure it with the Metabo Quick nut for tool-free changing. Adjust the guard to the required position without tools and lock it to prevent twisting. Mount an appropriate 18 V battery pack and switch the tool on; the electronic soft start will bring the disc up to speed smoothly. During operation keep a firm two-handed grip and allow the tool to reach full speed before engaging the workpiece. If the disc stops or jams, the electronic safety shutdown and restart protection reduce kickback and prevent accidental restarts.

Recommendations

Use LiHD 18 V battery packs for longest runtimes and consistent power. Select cutting or grinding discs that match the material and the 125 mm diameter. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safety instructions for angle grinders.
