Univerzálna maskovacia páska TESA Economy 55338

tesa® Economy 55338 is a general-purpose masking tape made from beige paper, 30 mm wide and 50 m long. Designed for indoor use, it provides reliable adhesion on most flat surfaces and enables precise masking for painting, crafting and surface protection while allowing residue-free removal within 4 days under indoor conditions.

Advantages

This masking tape combines good adhesion with clean removal: it sticks reliably to a variety of flat substrates yet can be removed without leaving adhesive residue for up to 4 days indoors. The paper backing allows for easy tearing by hand and accurate application at edges, and the 30 mm width makes it suitable for detailed work and small surfaces.

Suitable for

• Interior painting and creating sharp paint edges
• Crafts, model making and temporary fixing
• Protecting trims, glass and other flat surfaces during renovation

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application. Unroll the tape and press it firmly along the edge to be masked to ensure good contact. Apply in a continuous strip for the best result; overlap slightly when covering larger areas. For painting, remove the tape within 4 days to avoid adhesive transfer—peel back slowly at a low angle for a clean edge.

Recommendations

For best results on delicate or highly textured surfaces, test the tape on a small inconspicuous area first. Do not use outdoors or on freshly painted surfaces that have not fully cured, as outdoor exposure and extended adhesion times may affect residue-free removal.
